Young@Heart Chorus to Perform In New York Soon

In less than two weeks Young @ Heart will give a not-for-profit performance in New York City. The organization is the subject of an upcoming (2008) documentary to be released by Fox Searchlight, called -- appropriately-- YOUNG @ HEART.

At right is the actual invite. (Note: the event is open to the public!)

"An Afternoon With Young @ Heart"
    Sunday, October 7th, 2 PM
    Tickets: $20.00

"Young @ Heart's first full length performance in New York - don't miss an afternoon with the one group in town that is genuinely old-school."

From Fox Searchlight's press release when the studio purchased the film at the Los Angeles Film Festival:

"YOUNG @ HEART is the award-winning documentary directed by Stephen Walker and starring the New England senior citizens chorus led by Bob Cilman that has delighted audiences worldwide with their covers of songs by everyone from The Clash to Coldplay."

Happen to be in Gotham at that time and you want to purchase tickets? Then I encourage you to to visit brownpapertickets.com(or click on the image)and do exactly that! You can access more information about the event there as well.

Also you can see their performance of two different songs at YouTube below:

If these videos don't convince you to attend then I don't know WHAT will! :)
